Sharda School of Design prepares the students for the real world they can make a lasting impact in designing the future and have an exciting and rewarding career. The students at SSD have crafted the world as renowned landscape architects, urban planners, urban designers, and history preservationists.
The school's nationally accredited degree programs, world-class faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities connect to provide the students with a broad range of opportunities in both the public and private sectors of the industry. SSD leads the students through both practical and theoretical learning until they can master in an innovative design that reflects art and science.
The school has forged numerous connections and partnerships with schools and professionals in countries around the world. The faculty comprises of academicians from internationally renowned universities such as Cornell, University of Cincinnati, Ecole Des Beaux Art, Paris, University of Manitoba, Jawaharlal Nehru University, School of Planning & Architecture, National Institute of Design, Delhi College of Art, as well as leading Architectural practitioners and Planning professionals from all over the country.
Sharda School of Design, Architecture and Planning (SDAP) is the creative hub of Sharda University. Initiated in 2011, the school over the years has crafted over seven hundred undergraduate students in the Architectural and Design realm. With faculty from reputed international and national institutes, the endeavour is to provide students with new age and contemporary experiences of design and execution. This along with technical and latest software tools prepare the students for lifelong learning.
With several MoUs with the industry and frequent connect with professionals of related fields, the school provides the students a platform for experimenting, and sharpening their skill set in the streams of their individual choice. In addition to architecture, the design specialisations comprise of fashion, interior design, digital and communication as well as visual arts.
The school has an important role in the University with much of its upcoming designs curated through the Sharda design centre- that enables students, faculty, and professionals to come on board for live projects. The interdisciplinary background of the university is perfect to evolve socially connected and sensitive creative individuals that work together for the benefit of the future.
