Overview

B.Sc. Environmental Science is a four-year undergraduate programme divided into 8semesters. This program aims to give students the competence in the methods and techniques of environmental science and understand fundamental concepts, principles and processes underlying the field of environmental science, its interdisciplinary nature demonstrates an understanding of a wide range of Environmental techniques (e.g. basic water and soil analysis, environmental microbiological methods and instruments). This program aims to develop critical thinking for shaping strategies (scientific, social, economic, administrative, and legal) for environmental protection, conservation of biodiversity, environmental equity, and sustainable development in students.

The program aims to address the growing need for competent professionals in society for applying most effective management practices drawn from various disciplines to create innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

This programme will make graduates ready to take up higher studies in environmental sciences and to take up careers in the fields of environmental research and learning.
