Are program by sharda University
It is mandatory for all universities/institutions offering professional and technical programs in India to be recognized by the national level statutory bodies established for the maintenance of norms and standards. Indian degrees are recognized worldwide. Sharda University is approved by UGC (Govt. of India) and registered under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.
What are the courses / programs offered by Sharda University?
Sharda University offers more than 216 Programs in Engineering, Management, Law, Medical, Dental, Allied Health Sciences, Mass Communication, Bio-Technology, Basic Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Hospital Administration and many more.
Is there any capitation fee?
No. There is no capitation fee. You only need to pay tuition and other fees which have been mentioned in the fee schedule. For more details please view our Course Fee Page
What is the duration of the courses/programs?
Sharda University provides 216 Programs in different disciplines, which includes short term programs of 3 months duration to full time programs of 4 to 5 years duration.
What are the other fees need to be paid apart from tuition fee?
Other than tuition fee and registration fee, you have to pay for hostel accommodation and mess charges which has been mentioned in the hostel fee schedule. For Hostel fee structure please visit www.sharda.ac.in/international/accommodation-fee
What is the medium of instruction in the classes?
Medium of Instruction is English.
Is there any provision for concession or scholarships?
The University provides merit based scholarships and continuation of scholarship is as per the terms and conditions of the University i.e. regularity in attendance, progress, good character and conduct.
Is there any management quota?
No. We only have the following two quotas
i) General quota Admissions are based on the ranking obtained by the student in the entrance exam conducted by Sharda University
ii) Foreign/ NRI quota Admissions are based on merit and as per the marks/grades obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Can an NRI/Foreign Nationals student pay the program /tuition fee in Indian rupees?
Yes, program/ tuition fee can be paid either in US Dollars or in equivalent Indian Rupees.
What are the eligibility requirements for admission?
The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
When do I apply?
Students can apply anytime from month of January to July. As we have limited seats in each course, so we recommend applying as soon as possible.

When is the last date to submit the application?
31st July is the last date to submit the application for all programs under Foreign / NRI quota
What should I do if I want to change my Program?
You have to write an application indicating your new program to International Relations Division. They will evaluate your request and if acceptable will re-issue a new Admission Letter and do other necessary formalities.
